Name: Rob Occupation: Substitute Math Teacher
Rob has an IQ of 220 and he uses it to teach math. This has led to an unfulfilling existence which thrives on television, video games, zero social skills, and chocolate. His insight into the artist Kal’s inner personality is invaluable and irrefutable, as he is the only person alive to have survived his friendship for over a decade. Was deeply involved in the construction of Kaltopia, heading the operation as lead technical advisor while the artist Kal supervised from his recliner by humming loudly and drinking Ovaltine. Rob has serious issues with confidence and control, resulting in awkward conversations and a general aura of unpleasantness that turned him into the outcast he inevitably became. Likes: Comic books, cartoon shows, RPG video games, cookies. Dislikes: New situations, breaks in any pattern, continuity errors, being cool.

Name: Gabe Occupation: Tech Support Helpline, College Student
Previous military background offers a unique understanding of the artist Kal’s tactical strikes against the human populace. Was married briefly during teenage years. Currently attends a big ten university in Michigan. Was inducted into the artist Kal’s social circuit through Truman, college roommate and best friend. Repeatedly assisted the artist Kal on matters such as computer repair, grand larceny and kidnapping. Often takes on strong, silent roles in any group dynamic. Likes: Dragonball Z, swords, rifles. Dislikes: Bullshit of any sort.

Occupation: Drug Dealer, College Student
Once had promising future in nuclear physics until the artist Kal exposed him to the power-enhancing synergy of the wonder drug “marijuana.” Truman chose to apply his mental energies into the botanical cultivating of his own private garden (location unknown), leading to his current passivity. Often provided the artist Kal with free nourishment as a token of appreciation, until the Kaltopian riots during which the city was obliterated. Truman tends to adopt low-profile attitudes, analyzing situations with detached interest. Has two girlfriends. Maintains steady diet of nachos, sex and weed. Likes: Purple Haze, Half-Life 2, Palm Pilots. Dislikes: Loud things, fat girls, Rob.

![]() Name: Beth Occupation: Designer
Beth was the artist Kal’s girlfriend for more than a year while
attending college, even going so far as to live with him in a small
apartment where most of their time was spent exclusively with each
other. Records on this period have been deleted and stripped from
all recent archives. What is known is that Beth broke things off,
choosing instead to take a
Hollywood offer and trap Kal into selling his
comic to the executives. Soon after that, she moved on, giving up on
Kal and moving to
Paris to pursue her dreams of a fashion career. Is still bitter over
how Kal treated her, and continues to harbor deep resentment. Likes:
Beds with too many blankets, magazines about clothes, Bing Crosby.
Dislikes: Open water, misogynistic attitudes, Kal. |

Name: Marla Cain Occupation: World-Mart Employee
After working in Hollywood as a receptionist for the executives, Marla found herself jobless after her office building was bombed by the artist Kal in an attempt to eradicate their legal attacks on his webcomic. She chose to return home and take a temporary position at World-Mart, a retail outlet where she works as the front-end department head. She is now, coincidently, Kal’s immediate supervisor, as the famous artist was forced to adopt a regular job after the Kaltopian riots left him in exile. Marla’s outlook on life is generally cynical and angry, largely because of her checkered history with abusive relationships. Despite her better judgement, she is drawn to the artist Kal’s personality, inspired by his artistic abilities and domineering methods of control. Likes: Slipknot, bondage, body piercings.

Occupation: Pool Guy
Employed full-time as an installer for swimming pools in the Chicago
area, T.J. was introduced to the artist Kal through Atticus, a
mutual acquaintance. He is a simple, quiet individual who wants
nothing more than to be left alone. T.J. is consistently annoyed by
Kal’s regular outbursts of self-glorification and claims to fame,
while at the same time admittedly envious of the artist’s ability to
produce impressive comic book stories on the internet. While he
still finds Kal irritating, T.J. acknowledges a certain level of
respect for him. Likes: Comics, action movies, stealing cable.
Dislikes: Hip-hop, posers, Kal’s intrusive voice. |
